"We had been going around in circles about saving for our children's schooling for two years. In one day at Anjung's workshop, we finally sat down together, looked at the same numbers, and agreed on a plan. The facilitator was calm and patient — she never made us feel judged for not having sorted it out sooner."
Household Budget Together Workshop — May 2025
Tan Wei Liang & Janice Tan
Subang Jaya, Selangor
"We chose the six-week programme because we wanted something with follow-through, not just a one-off talk. The weekly sessions gave us time to try things at home and come back with questions. The roles worksheet was particularly useful — it is easy for one person to end up managing everything, and we had fallen into that pattern without noticing."
Shared Goals Family Programme — April–May 2025
Norhaslinda & Razif Hashim
Shah Alam, Selangor
"My husband and I both attended the Foundations Course after a recommendation from a colleague. Three months is a reasonable commitment, and the material is genuinely well-designed — not generic slides recycled from a seminar. The handbook stays on our kitchen shelf. We have referred back to it several times."
Whole-Family Finance Foundations Course — Feb–Apr 2025
Suresh & Kavitha Nair
Damansara, Selangor
"The workshop was surprisingly practical. I came in expecting a presentation about budgeting theory — what I got was a guided conversation where we actually made decisions together. The noticeboard kit has been sitting on our fridge since March and we still check it. Small but genuinely useful."
Household Budget Together Workshop — March 2025
Faizal & Zulaikha Mohd
Kepong, Kuala Lumpur
"We attended with my mother-in-law, who lives with us. I was unsure whether she would be comfortable, but the facilitator handled the three-way dynamic very naturally. We came away with a clear picture of how the household money flows and who would handle what. My mother-in-law said she finally felt part of the conversation."

Chong Mei Ling & Raymond Chong
Puchong, Selangor
"We signed up for the six-week programme after doing the one-day workshop the previous year. The progression made sense — the workshop helped us start the conversation, and the programme helped us make it stick. Different content, same calm approach. We appreciated that they did not try to sell us anything at any point."

Case Study 01
From Conflicting Priorities to a Shared Plan
The Situation
Imran and Rasyidah had been disagreeing for over a year about whether to renovate their home or build up a savings buffer. Money conversations usually ended in frustration. They attended the one-day workshop at the suggestion of a family member.
The Process
The workshop structured their conversation in a way that let both express their concerns without interruption. The facilitator helped them see that the disagreement was partly about different underlying worries — not the renovation itself.
The Outcome
They left with a six-month plan: build a three-month buffer first, then revisit the renovation with an agreed scope and budget. Imran told us: "We did not need someone to make the decision for us. We needed someone to help us have the conversation properly."

Case Study 02
A Three-Generation Household Finding Its Rhythm
The Situation
Lim Kwang Han and his wife moved in with his parents after their first child was born. The household had four adults with different financial habits and expectations. Nobody felt comfortable raising the subject directly.
The Process
All four adults attended the six-week programme together. The roles session was particularly productive — for the first time, they mapped out who contributed what and who managed which costs, and agreed on a contribution structure.
The Outcome
After three months, the household contribution arrangement was still in place. Kwang Han described it as "low-drama." The shared goals board they set up has remained on the kitchen wall. Two goals have been met.

Case Study 03
Building a Foundation Before a First Home Purchase
The Situation
Siti Norzalina and her husband were planning to apply for a home loan within two years. They felt underprepared and wanted to understand their household finances more clearly before committing to such a significant step.
The Process
They enrolled in the Foundations Course. The module on how everyday financial products work — covering loan structures at a general educational level — gave them a clearer framework for the questions they needed to ask their bank.
The Outcome
They are still in the planning phase, but Siti described feeling "much less confused" about the process. They have a written household plan covering the next 18 months and a clearer picture of their current financial position.
