Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or enrolling in any Anjung programme. By accessing our site or registering for a session, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:
- "Anjung", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Anjung, operating from No. 27, Jalan SS2/24, SS2, 47300 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
- "Service" refers to any workshop, programme, course, or educational session offered by Anjung.
- "Participant" or "you" refers to any individual or household that accesses our website or enrols in a Service.
- "Content" refers to all materials produced by Anjung including workbooks, templates, handbooks, and digital resources.
- "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry form, registering for a Service, or continuing to use our website, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- You have read and understood these terms.
- You accept these terms on behalf of yourself and any family members you enrol.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.
3. Service Description
Anjung provides general financial education services for families and households, currently comprising three programmes:
- Household Budget Together Workshop (1 day, 6 hours) — RM 540
- Shared Goals Family Programme (6 sessions, 6 weeks) — RM 1,720
- Whole-Family Finance Foundations Course (12 sessions, 3 months) — RM 4,350
All Services are educational in nature. Anjung does not hold a licence to provide regulated financial advisory services under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or the Financial Services Act 2013. Nothing in our sessions constitutes personalised financial advice.
Services are available to participants located in Malaysia. We reserve the right to decline an enrolment request at our discretion.
4. Participant Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Attend booked sessions on time and come prepared.
- Treat facilitators and other participants with courtesy and respect.
- Not record, reproduce, or distribute any session content without our written permission.
- Use materials provided solely for your household's personal, non-commercial use.
- Not misrepresent any information provided during enrolment.
- Notify us as early as possible if you need to reschedule a session.
5. Intellectual Property
All content produced and provided by Anjung — including workbooks, templates, handbooks, slides, and website materials — remains the intellectual property of Anjung and is protected under Malaysian copyright law.
Upon payment, participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the materials for personal household purposes only. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, translate, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written consent.
6. Payment and Refunds
Payment: Full payment is required to confirm your place in a Service. We accept payment via bank transfer or FPX online banking. Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Cancellation by participant:
- Cancellations made 14 or more calendar days before the session date: full refund minus a RM 30 administrative fee.
- Cancellations made 7–13 calendar days before: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before, or non-attendance: no refund, but we will offer a reschedule at no additional cost.
Cancellation by Anjung: If we need to cancel a session for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at your convenience.
For multi-session programmes, a deposit of RM 300 is required at booking. The balance is due on or before the first session.
7. Education-Specific Terms
- Anjung does not issue academic credentials, certifications, or accredited qualifications. Our programmes are non-accredited general education services.
- We do not hold ourselves out as financial advisers, planners, accountants, or lawyers. Participants should seek appropriately qualified professionals for personalised advice.
- Session materials are updated periodically; information provided reflects general educational content available at the time of the session.
- We may make reasonable modifications to session content, facilitators, or scheduling. We will provide reasonable notice where significant changes are made.
- Participants are responsible for applying or not applying any information learned in sessions. Anjung accepts no responsibility for financial outcomes.
8. Disclaimers
Our Services and website are provided on an "as available" basis. We make no representation that:
- Any particular outcome will result from attending our programmes.
- The information provided is suitable for your specific financial situation.
- The website will be free from errors or uninterrupted at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Anjung disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services and materials.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anjung's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant Service.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including financial losses resulting from decisions made based on session content, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services if you breach these Terms, behave in a manner that disrupts other participants, or act in a way that is harmful to Anjung's reputation or staff. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
You may withdraw from a programme at any time, subject to the refund terms in Section 6.
Sections 5, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination of any agreement between you and Anjung.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation. Either party may initiate this by writing to the other party explaining the nature of the dispute.
If informal resolution is not achieved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, and the Selangor courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
12. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anjung.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign ours without restriction.
- Notices: Notices to us should be sent to [email protected] or our postal address.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or Services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
